That’s a wrap from our SPLEWDI event

Thanks to all those who were able to attend last week's Suicide Prevention Lived Experience Workforce Development Initiative (SPLEWDI) event at the National Centre for Indigenous Excellence (NCIE). It was such a special opportunity to come together and spend time exploring all that we did. 

Together, we shared knowledge, expertise and resources that will help others in their work, and contribute to a thriving Lived Experience workforce here in Central & Eastern Sydney. We were so fortunate to have Darren Wagner, Holly Kemp, Stephen Smith and Carrie Lumby all kindly share their rich expertise and perspectives with us.

We’ll be developing and sharing a report with our learnings and reflections from the wider SPLEWDI shortly. The insights that we gathered throughout the day will contribute to that report.
