EOIs for NSW Consumer Perspective (Peer) Supervision Course now open

The following opportunity may be of interest to those working in Lived Experience workforce roles in suicide prevention in Central and Eastern Sydney. Through SPLEWDI, we have previously identified “Improving access to high quality peer supervision” as an important priority for developing and supporting this workforce in the region.

The Mental Health Commission of NSW is funding Consumer Perspective Supervision (CPS) training for NSW-based peer workers for 2025. The course is delivered by inside out & associates.

More detail here: Consumer Perspective Supervision Course (NSW) | inside out & associates

The training aims to build discipline-specific Consumer Perspective (Peer) Supervision capability and to build capacity to provide CPS to the consumer/peer workforce. The CPS course is written and facilitated by consumer/peer/lived experience leaders, supervisors and educators.

It has previously run eight times in Victoria and this is the first time it’s being delivered in NSW.

The course is fully funded and EOIs are open until 5pm on Wednesday 18 June 2025.
